This is the winter we wish for, to be in the night meadow, the trees, heavy with fresh snow in the light of the moon. The painting was quite joyful, channeling Bobb Ross and imagining Ruth’s meadow, an artist’s holiday celebration! Step back. I will sip cocktails with you right there!

We might change our awareness, disconnecting it from our somatic realty. When disbanding with the need for physical logic, up is not up. Our perspective begins from the context of the air, or the body, or deep in the layers under the ground. It is a perseverative view, a woven vision, catching the essence and the counter of what is observed

Theater

I stand at my desk, practice painting, visual rumination, sorting out color and action, dreaming of the theater. A year ago I began painting at Kitchen Theatre. I have learned that I can make plans, and I dream the dream, standing at the desk, yet when it comes time to paint there is only action with no time to hesitate. That is the nature of theater.
